LeiLue,

Unlike Garrion's flagwaving poster I can actually quote all my sources to back up my claims.

At the end of right this report on the BBC News web site it says clearly "More than 150 US troops have been killed in attacks since major combat operations in Iraq ended." A agree that other incidents could happen anywhere and so are not worthy of reporting but the fact remains, those 150 servicemen (more now, seeing as this report was from the middle of last month) died during hostile attacks.

Sorry hun. I know this is close to you but I cannot allow your feeling to alter my personal disdain for the propaganda, from either side of the fence.

If you are truly interested in what is happening out there I can recommend the Baghdad blogger's pages. They received a lot of attention during the war itself but less so afterwards. However, he has a lot to say on the subject of the attitude of the people on both sides, and he's in the thick of it.
