I am not so much as disagreeing with you as to pointing out that not all deaths are caused by combat. Out of the 7 battalions stationed here only two have died, one from drowning one from a vehicle crash. I just am tired of people bashing every little thing when our military actually is doing good things over there. Its hard on the troops, people are turning it into another Vietnam. Just an example we went home on leave and some jack ass said something to my husband while we were at a bar for a few drinks and dancing with family before hubby has to go back to the sandbox. A lewd baby killer statement was made that then escalated into a bar fight. People have no respect for the troops anymore. They have enough stress having to go to Iraq, weather they want to or not, they are doing there duty there and there job and putting there lives on the line. Yes sometimes my opinions stray because of the situation i myself am in and my husband is in. But i wish people would realize what the Iraqis did not have and what they have now. Who cares about bush. THe people have the right to make decisions and choices they didn't before and almost all of our troops are welcomed with open arms and hearts except a few places like turk or wherever. I am not trying to change anyones opinion only wanting to possibly open there eyes a little more that these are our family's and friends being sent to help other peoples family's and friends in another country and even if you don't respect our leaders, the troops are doing there best adn what they can do to help them..just a note on the kicking the kids. The man that died from where we are drowning was crossing a river near el nasaria to feed Iraqi children on the other side. Leilue
