The official said the United States has found proof that Russian companies exported night-vision goggles and radar-jamming equipment to Iraq, the official said. The evidence includes the equipment itself and proof that it was used during the war, according to the official. Such exports would violate the terms of United Nations sanctions against Iraq.

Hmm wonder if that had any influence on their nay vote for a US resolution to go to war with Iraq?

We also know France was selling arms to Iraq right up to the last days prior to the war. I saw a news report weeks ago that we found Mirage jets buried in the desert in an attempt to hide them. Those were a violation of UN resolutions as well. Ya think that influences France's Nay vote?

Jing since you know so much about the missiles, who sold them to Iraq? Wouldn't be China would it? Maybe not assembled missiles but likely the components to assemble it.

Wonder what Germany kind of deal Germany had going with Iraq?

Pretty obvious pattern as to why it was impossible to get UN backing on this war. Maybe in the future countries that have no financial interest in the country in question should be allowed to vote on a resolution such as the one the US sought.
