When I worked at a cell phone place in hawaii, some european lady came in wanting to know where to get "inta-net" and I started to explain the differences between dial-up, DSL, and Cable, and she interrupts and goes "no, i mean, what place around here can I go to use inta-net?"

I'm like.. uh.. This is America, you want "inta-net," then you fucking pay for it, you socialist pig. What the hell?

Evidently in europe people can just waltz into a barber shop and expect there to internet access. But yeah, p-p-p-powerbook was a great thread.
