pint or so of water before you sleep, perhaps with a vitamin c tablet to kickstart things.

make sure you have water next to the bed in case you wake up during the night.

when you get up, you guessed it, more water plus some fruit along the lines of melon followed by some complex carbs such as wholemeal toast or oat cereal (nothing too sugary though).

then do it all over again the next night :)
