When Divinus Veritas was going to be disbanded, we did not have the heart to totally disband the guild so we came up with a clever way to preserve it.
We turned DV into an alt guild. Not all guilds will allow low level alts into their guilds, so we put all our lower level alts in DV. Not all members are alts, some are mains, but the reason I am posting is that if you have unguilded alts or are not in a guild, you are welcome to join DV.
The people are fantastic and the best way to describe DV is, it is like a vacation resort. There are no mind games, no arguments, it is just a friendly place for R & R and peace and quiet. To me, it is a breath of fresh air after I was in two guilds filled with bickering and a ton of stress (these two guilds are no longer in existence and I am not here to bash anyone so will not name them).
There is no requirement to give notice to leave, you can disband your characters at any time with no notice and don't even have to tell anyone you are leaving. Quite a few people are putting their alts there until they are high enough to move on to other guilds.
Be warned though, there are rarely any raids and no constant grouping, because it is mainly a place to relax with occasional friendly chatter and where you can ask for information. Although there will be an occasional raid and/or gathering if someone wants to put something together, just that nothing is ever "planned" or really scheduled.
So if a vacation resort in EQ sounds good to you, just send a tell to any officer in DV that is online (there are quite a few officers) and we will be glad to add you.
(The only requirement for joining DV is that you must be honest, friendly, and overall "a nice person", we still have an excellent reputation and want to keep it that way.)
