Wanted to pitch out an idea...may be dumb but wanted to see if I was the only one interested or if their were more that thought it might be fun. Basically a very quick runthrough as not to take up too much time....
If your like me you LOVED EQ 6 years ago (or whenever you started) and miss the old times pre PoK/Luclin etc etc. Not that those werent great tools to add b/c they were but wanted to see how many out there would be interested in starting a guild (or guilds depending on the response) on a server (dont care which possibly a low population one) where you would start an alt chacter and we would go from level 1 upwards together(ish) and recapture the "original" EQ experience.
Just for a example (all kind of sketchy since this is mainly to see who would be interested) the players would exp only in "original" EQ zones up to level 50 for (again a rough estimate) 4-6 months. Only using as much as possible what originally EQ had...boats (if their still working) etc w/ the exception of the bazaar...hard to see selling much in the EC tunnel again even though it would be nice...but again thats all stuff to be ironed out after its determined if this interests anyone.
Then every 2 months (or so) a new expansion would be added to our roster (to speed up time obviosly we wouldnt want to wait 6 months to a year between expansions) for example after the initial 4 months we would add Kunark then in 2 months Velious then Luclin etc etc.
Again sorry to take up your time, just an idea I had and wanted to throw it out there. I find myself bored alot with current MMORPGS and would like to hear a response, whether you wanted to do it just part time or full time either would be fine.
